These characterful properties are set in the very centre of the town close to all of the amenities Allendale. Allendale, often marked on maps as Allendale Town, is a village and civil parish in south west Northumberland, England. It is located within the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
This is a great location for exploring the North Pennines, Hadrian’s Wall, Hexham, Durham and the Lakes, or travel over to the north of Northumberland to sample the heritage coast with miles of unspoilt beaches for a magical day out.
Allendale sits 10 miles south west of Hexham, a small market town with big supermarkets, weekly farmers market, an impressive Abbey, and country park.

The Dale Manor is set in the heart of Northumberland in the Allen Valleys, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated in the pretty, small town of Allendale, twice crowned ‘village of the year for England’. The Dale Manor is perfect for special occasions, celebrations and family get-togethers of all ages.
The Dale Manor can be hired in conjunction with the Allendale Wolf. The properties are next door to each other and have an interconnecting door (which is locked when booked by separate groups).
This large manor house boasts seven ensuite bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities and 32’’ free sat TVs, two of which are family rooms. There is also a fantastic attic spa with a super Jacuzzi-style hot tub on the roof terrace and a sauna. The ground floor is designed with open plan entertainment in mind with a huge industrial style wooden dining table seating up to 14 adults and 4 children, a modern open plan kitchen with access to the cellar and rear patio and an impressing gas and electric range cooker. The seating area features a cosy wood burning fire, large TV with music, movie and sports channels and sofa seating for all. There is Wi-Fi throughout the property.
The extensive garden consists of a private space and a shared garden (between Wolf and Manor), and features a sunset gin deck, large lawn areas, BBQ hut and beautifully stocked flower beds.

The Allendale Wolf has a fully equipped self-catering kitchen with a big range cooker with large oven and grill, full sized fridge freezer (with additional full sized drinks fridge too), microwave, toaster, fresh coffee plungers, kettle and all the pots and pans, crockery and cutlery you could possibly need.
The open plan area is decorated with antique taxidermy to reflect the importance of nature and the wonders of our beautiful countryside. We hope you love them as much as we do!
The dining area has been set out with bespoke benches as to accommodate hordes of children or adults comfortably and in style. The four large tables comfortably sit 24-28 guests on solid wooden tables – not just for eating together but also great for card games, jig saws and having that long overdue catch up.
The cosy and comfortable sofa area features three large sofas, plenty of cushions and throws and is just perfect for those late-night chats, sitting and catching up with friends and family – after a big walk out or just chilling after that delicious Full English breakfast.
